MORE THAN 6 DECADES OF BONDING WITH NATURE

March 2023

To deeply understand the alpacas, their genetics, and the relationships formed with their breeders, we transformed a 1,500-hectare farm in the highlands of Puno into our renowned scientific research station, “Pacomarca”.

This facility has endowed us with invaluable genetic insights, enabling the enhancement of fiber quality plus elevating the quality desired by the market. We can now assert that it has established itself as a benchmark in breeding practices and exemplary animal care. All the endeavors undertaken at Pacomarca over the past two decades earned global acknowledgment recently, having flawlessly completed the producer's RAS audit with no recorded non-conformities in the process. We extend special recognition to our entire team for their unwavering dedication to realizing this achievement.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MENTION THAT through Pacomarca, we are advising and collaborating with other alpaca producers to assist them in attaining their RAS certification. This will inherently create more value for them, translating into higher earnings for their work.
