The smallest and most elegant of the South American camelids, the vicuña presents a delicate, frail appearance, and is characterized by its cinnamon and white coat of incomparable softness and beauty. It provides the world's most luxurious fiber and lives freely on the Andean steppes at a height of more than 4000 meters (13100 feet) above sea level.
Additionally, Inca Tops works with a variety of other fibers in order to create unique blends while constantly seeking to improve its raw materials. The most frequently used fibers are silk, mohair, linen, nylon, Tencel and llama.
