PACOMARCA: “Sustainable Alpaca Network” is an enterprise that aims to the sustainable development of alpaca farming.  It seeks to generate benefits for all those involved in the alpaca production chain, and especially for the thousands of rural families who make a living from this resource in the harsh conditions of the Peruvian highlands.

From the 1st of January 2011, the research center Pacomarca officially became a part of Inca Tops. We can say with confidence that Pacomarca is the most advanced research and genetic center for alpaca in the world. For more information and participate in the project please visit www.pacomarca.com

For more than 10 years Inca Tops has launched and directed the program Tejiendo Oportunidades (Knitting Oportunities). The project is aimed to small knitting companies and entrepreneurs so Inca Tops can teach and train them in topics like quality control, knitting design, fashion trends, etc. Each year the contestants present garments designed and produced by them and the articles are then showed in a fashion show in the city. The winners in each category receive yarn (of their choice) from Inca Tops, free training and exposition in media and other fashion shows in Peru.
